POSITION: FRESHER LAYOUT ENGINEER 

Location: Ho Chi Minh city/Da Nang city, Vietnam

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in designing and developing layouts for Embedded Memory IPs, Standard Cells, and IOs. 

• Participate in layout verification and ensure compliance with design rules and specifications. 

• Work closely with senior engineers to learn, contribute, and grow technical skills. 

• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in layout design 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication, Physics, or related fields. 

• Foundational knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes and MOSFET fundamentals. 

• Exposure to layout entry tools (Cadence, Synopsys) and verification tools (Mentor Calibre, Synopsys ICV) — through coursework, projects, or self-study is acceptable. 

• Basic understanding of layout techniques such as matching, ESD, Latchup, Antenna, and EMIR is a plus. 

• Good communication, documentation, and analytical skills. 

• Able to read and understand technical documents in English. 

• Eager to learn, honest, humble, and a strong team player. 

• Internship experience related to custom layout or chip design 

Preferred Skills: 

• Hands-on exposure to EDA tools at a basic level. 

• Familiarity with advanced process technologies.
